Inspection Process

Every vehicle earns its spot on the lot.

No vehicle is offered for sale at Byrider until it passes our 100+ point inspection, complete reconditioning and a real-world road test. Here's exactly what happens before you ever see it.

1. Arrival & history review

Before a wrench turns, we review the vehicle's AutoCheck® history report, title status, accident records and prior service, so we know exactly what we're working with.

2. Multi-point mechanical inspection

Our technicians check more than 100 inspection points: engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical, heating and A/C, fuel and cooling systems, tires and safety equipment.

3. Reconditioning & repairs

Anything that doesn't meet our standards gets repaired or replaced, brakes, tires, fluids, filters, belts and more. We don't put a vehicle on the lot and hope for the best.

4. Road test verification

Every vehicle is road tested to confirm it accelerates, shifts, steers and stops the way it should, in real driving conditions, not just on the lift.

5. Detail & final quality check

Interior and exterior detailing, then a final walk-around quality check. Only after all five steps does a vehicle earn its spot on a Byrider lot.

6. Backed by a service agreement

Every vehicle includes a limited service agreement, up to 3 Year / 36,000 Mile on most vehicles, so the confidence doesn't end when you drive off.
